The French region Perigord has set itself a bold challenge: gathering more than 300 different goat’s cheeses from the four corners of the World, on one giant and delicious platter !

The cheeses will be local, French, European and international, and they will be representative of the diversity of goat sector:

• An incredible array of taste
• Varied shapes and textures
• Unique and inspiring know-how

This exceptional exhibiton will shine a light on the creativity, passion and diversity of goat’s cheese.

A giant on farm cheese tasting

On the big day, August 23rd 2026, a festive and convivial tasting will be organised on a farm of the Perigord. The program will involve:

• A giant cheese platter to admire and taste
• Meetings with farmers and producers
• Music, entertainment and tasty exchanges!

A World Record in view

The goal is ambitious : to get the first Guinness Book approved World record for the largest platter of goat’s cheese. It is to be a strong symbol promoting the goat sector and putting forward the quality and diversity of goat’s cheese on an international scale.
